I spend a lot of time these days running around trying to find free deals and stockpiling for a rainy day.  As a result, my office became really cluttered and disorganized.  That’s ironic because I run a Professional Organizing company :-D.  Nobody’s perfect and I definitely got my act together, especially now that I want to teach my son at home.  I knew exactly where I wanted to set him up for school.  I put my organizing skills to work and got it done.

My son loves his new homeschooling space!!!  He keeps coming into the office and asking to sit at his desk.  He is definitely ready to learn.

FYI- I let my 5-year old son help me put the desk and chair together.  He also colored the little flowers on the wall.

I have just chosen my very first math curriculum for homeschooling my 5-year old this year.  I chose to go with Singapore Math based on a review given by Cathy Duffy, author of 100 Top Picks for Homeschool Curriculum.

Since my child is slightly ahead and loves math, I decided to start off with the Earlybird Kindergarten Math Textbook B.

Does anyone have any experience using this curriculum?  If so, please share your opinions with me.
